An introduction-to-fishing experience at Titlow Pool! Staff will be on hand to help tie hooks, demonstrate proper netting techniques, provide fishing assistance and distribute safe fishing and boating information. Participants may bring their own fishing pole. A limited number of poles will be available to borrow. Bait and tackle will be provided while supplies last. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for youth and free for observers. Entry fee includes three catches; additional catches are $2 each. Admission fees will help the CTEP plant more fish in the wild.

For a second year the Kirkland Concours d’Elegance and Woodinville Wine Country are joining hands to offer a taste of some of Washington State’s finest wines AND an eyeful of classic, vintage automobiles. The highlight of the partnership is the Vin d’Elegance, to be held the day prior to the Concours, on Saturday, Sept. 10 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at approximately twenty of the very best Woodinville wineries. The Councours d’Elegance is a vintage automobile, motorcycle, and wooden boat design show on Sunday, Sept 11. All proceeds to to Seattle Children’s Hospital.
